Registration & Tournament Format

Teams must register in their own age division through HOAonline. Select level teams are not allowed to register for a Region Bid Event.

11’s will only have a National division. 12’s, 13’s and 18’s will only have an American division. The 18’s division will award both American and Freedom bids in the American division. 14’s-17’s will register in either the American or Freedom division. Teams that qualify for either Power League 1 or 2 must register in the American division.

*Registered teams who have earned a bid to GJNC prior to a Region Bid Event will be dropped and refunded.*

Pools will typically consist of 4 or 5 teams. Saturday will consist of pool play followed by playoffs on Sunday. All teams will play on both Saturday and Sunday. In pool play, the first two sets will start at 4-4 playing to 25. If a third set is needed, it will start at 0-0 playing to 15. Playoff matches are best 2 out of 3 sets.

In the American divisions, we will play to 6th place. In the Freedom divisions, we will play to 4th place. This means teams that lose in the quarterfinals or semifinals will play additional matches. This is for bid trickle down purposes.

Tie Breaking Procedure
