The Foundation awards scholarships to help cover the costs of club volleyball ensuring that all athletes have the opportunity to participate regardless of financial circumstances.

About Glen Davies

Glen Davies is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished referees in USA Volleyball history. He officiated volleyball at the first four Olympic Games to feature the sport and remains the only person to have served as the first referee for both the men’s and women’s Olympic gold medal matches. Throughout his career, Glen officiated in over 21 countries, becoming a global ambassador for volleyball and a driving force behind USA Volleyball’s international credibility.

Inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 1989, Glen’s legacy goes beyond the whistle. He played a pivotal role in the development of HOA, introducing the use of Sport Court surfaces, and expanding tournament venues beyond high school gyms. His passion for the game and commitment to community building laid the foundation for HOA’s success today.
