The full season junior membership is for players who are 18 or will turn 18 by 8/31/2026. Becoming a full season junior player member gives the member access to compete in any region or national sanctioned indoor or beach competition. It also provides the member with USAV insurance coverage during sanctioned tryouts, practices, and competition. Players who purchase this membership will be required to complete the SafeSport training for their membership to be eligible.

This membership provides access to compete in any regional sanctioned indoor or beach competition and provides USAV insurance coverage during regional sanctioned tryouts, practices, and competition. The membership is for players ages 8 and under, for the duration of the entire membership season (8/31/2026), who are playing in regional sanctioned competition only. They are not eligible to play in national level events (Qualifiers, Girls Junior National Championships, National teams/camps, etc.). A member who is 8 years of age or younger and will be participating in a national sanctioned event will purchase the ‘HOA-F3 Junior Player’ membership.

The tryout membership is for players who do not know what club they are playing for in the current season and allows them to participate in region sanctioned club volleyball tryouts during September – December. It does not allow for participation in other region sanctioned events (practices, competitions, camps, clinics, etc) or in USAV bid tournaments or USAV Girls/Boys Junior National Championships. The tryout membership is non-refundable. However, if a player upgrades to a full season membership, the $15 tryout fee will be credited towards the full season membership cost.

*Junior players who plan to participate in tryouts during the summer and do not have a ‘HOA-F3 Junior Player’ OR ‘HOA-F8 Junior Player – SafeSport Required’ membership will need to purchase the ‘HOA-S3 Summer Junior Player’ OR ‘HOA-S8 Summer Junior Player – SafeSport Required’ membership.*

The membership is available to male athletes on high school or middle school based teams which are not sanctioned by the local state high school association as a school sport. This membership provides access for participation in region sanctioned high school or middle school based leagues, clinics, camps and tryouts. The membership provides USAV insurance coverage during sanctioned events. A member who will be playing at the USAV Boys Junior National Championships has to register with the ‘HOA-F3 Junior Player’ membership. Players who turn 18 by 8/31/2026 will purchase the ‘HOA-H8 HS Boys Junior Player – SafeSport Required’ membership.
