Co-ed 4's tournament cancelled

The co-ed 4's tournament that was scheduled for November 2nd has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

The Co-ed 4's tournament on October 25 is good to go. All teams will start competition at 9 am.
VolleyTots Road Tour in Kansas City

The VolleyTots Road Tour will be in Kansas City on Monday, October 27. This clinic will demonstrate exercises and drills to be used to teach the athletic skills of hand-eye coordination, spatial relationships, foot speed, agility, strength, posture, reduce fear, improve endurance, and establish discipline along with some specific volleyball techniques. Included will be a package of starter drills along with a short video providing some additional information.
The age ranges will be 3 ½ to 10 years old and will be strictly an introduction to volleyball for players, parents and coaches. The clinic will run from 5:30-8:30 pm for coaches and from 6:30-8 pm for the kids.
Registration is free to the 1st 30 "Tots" (age 3 ½ to 10). Fee for coaches is $5 for HOA members, $10 for Non-USAV members. Pre-registration is required. See attached flyer for more info.
Gym time for tryouts

HOA has some gym time still available for tryouts on Sunday, November 9 and November 15. If you are looking for gym spaces for your tryouts, contact the HOA office at (913) 233-0445.
Schedule Change Co-ed 4's league

We have to make some changes in the Co-ed 4's schedule. The double header night will be played on October 9th. From October 16 on, we will have to schedule one match at 7:30 pm. Please double check your playing schedule for the upcoming weeks.

Kansas Division I schools in National Top

The Wichita State University women's volleyball team (12-0) is currently ranked 14th in the NCAA Division I coaches poll, while Kansas State University (12-2) is ranked 17th. For Wichita State this is their highest rank in school history. They earned this ranking with victories over then No. 10 Cal Poly, Big 12 foe Oklahoma and victories over 3 big 10 teams: Northwestern, Ohio State and Michigan State.
Congratulations to both schools for a great start of the season.
Co-ed 4's tournaments scheduled

We have scheduled several co-ed four's tournaments for this fall. We will start on September 28 with a reverse co-ed, followed on October 12 with a regular co-ed tournament. Check the Adult tournament schedule for all events.
