Please notice that the site for the 12's division and for one pool in the 15's division has been changed to the PVA Facility in Lenexa, KS(9650 Dice Lane, Lenexa, Kansas 66215). We have been informed by Winnetonka HS that we cannot use the facilities there and had to make the change.

Kansas City Presidents Day Tournament

The Kansas City Presidents Day tournament is almost full. We had to move around some teams to make all divisions work and are still looking for a 17's team to volunteer to move up to 18 Club division. We also have still an opening for a 13's and a 14's team. Teams who have not done their entry in AES yet, please do so. thanks
Powerleague Qualifier Schedules

All Powerleague Qualifier playing schedules are now posted. Go under "Juniors" to "Powerleague" and select your division for the full playing schedule. Because of different formats, we cannot post all schedules on the regular tournament calendar.
For the divisions that are playing at the New Century Fieldhouse: the management has requested that audience and participants do not bring chairs into the facility. Please inform your teams of this. This is a very nice facility that we hope to use a lot for many years to come and we need your help with that. Outside food and coolers are not allowed in any of the Powerleague facilities.

KERRI WALSH VOLLEYBALL CLINICS

Championship Volleyball will be hosting several clinics at the HOA facility in Kansas City on December 3 & 4. The Head instructor for these clinics will be Olympic Gold medalist Kerri Walsh. There will be 4 session of 3 hours each. Saturday morning is for the ages 12 thru 15, Saturday afternoon for ages 15 thru 18. The Sunday morning session is for the age group 15 thru 18 followed by a session in the afternoon for the age groups 12 thru 15. To register for these clinics, go to the Championship Volleyball website.

The HOA office will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 24 & 25 for the Thanksgivings Holiday.
Refunds for Players who did not make a team

Before you request a refund of your membership fee, you may want to check the "Classifieds" section on the HOA website. We are getting more and more information from clubs that they have not filled all positions. There are also still several clubs having tryouts.
To request a refund of the membership fee: Send an email before December 31, to Registrar@hoavb.org, stating that you want to cancel the membership. Include the name and date of birth of the person you are canceling. Also include who to make the check out to and where to mail it to. For security reasons, we have no access to full credit card information and cannot credit back to your account.
