Region Bid Tournaments

The Region Bid tournaments are now set up for the maximum number of teams we will allow in. If there are more teams that want in than we can handle, the rankings at the moment of the deadline of registration will be used to determine who makes it in. Keep in mind that we will loose some teams because they pick up bids for the National Championships in the National or Open divisions before the Region Bid tournament.

Please notice that the site for the 12's division and for one pool in the 15's division has been changed to the PVA Facility in Lenexa, KS(9650 Dice Lane, Lenexa, Kansas 66215). We have been informed by Winnetonka HS that we cannot use the facilities there and had to make the change.

Junior Officiating Requirements

All Junior Coaches will have to attend an officiating clinic this year. We have started scheduling these clinics all over the region. Check the HOA website under "Juniors", "Officiating Clinics" for a clinic in your area. Rulebooks will be distributed at these clinics.
All clubs will have to make arrangements to train their players to be officials and scorekeepers. Materials for those clinics can be found on the HOA website under "Officiating", "Resources".
Test are to be used as training materials. Do not send the tests to the HOA office. There is NO online test available for juniors.

Playing Sites Silver Heart Challenge Cup

We are please to announce the playing locations for the Silver Heart Challenge Cup on February 25 & 26.
17's and 18's: SportZone, Topeka, KS

15's: Parkville Athletic Complex and PVA Facility
14's: New Century Fieldhouse, New Century, KS
13's: HOA Facility, Kansas City, KS
12's: PVA Facility, Lenexa, KS
New Century Fieldhouse

We will be using the New Century Fieldhouse this season for several of our events. This gym is a very nice, brand new 8 court facility, owned by Johnson County Parks & Rec. Outside food, coolers and chairs are not allowed in the facility. Help us to be good guests at this very nice place so we will be able to use it for years to come for volleyball.

Waves for KC Presidents Day Tournament

We are pleased to announce the playing waves for the Kansas City Presidents Day Tournament. The 12, 13, 14 and 17's divisions will play in the AM on the first and second day (8 am till about 2 pm). The 15, 16 and 18 club divisions and the 15/16 Open division will play in the PM wave (about 2 pm till 10 pm). On the third day of competition teams can be playing at anytime between 8 am and 6 pm.
