Adult Rating Tournament

We have enough women's teams to go ahead with the Rating tournament on Sunday. Wing it, Ball-Z, Team Yolo, Good Times, Girls Gone Mild and DIG are confirmed to participate. It does not look like we will have enough men's teams to make them play.
The clinics will be from 9 to 11 am. Play from 11 am till about 3 pm.
Office Closing

We have learned that 2 former KC Masters players have died. Chris Duboc died on October 18 at the age of 55 and Carroll Denning did on October 24 at the age of 75.

The Schedules for the Adult leagues, starting September 14 are now posted. Make sure to check back on Wednesday in case there are any updates. The women's schedule that applies right now is version 2.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN ON WEBPOINT OR ON THE AES SYSTEM YOU WILL NOT HAVE A WEBPOINT USERNAME YET.
RIGHT NOW THERE ARE NO HOA SANCTIONED ACTIVITIES TILL MID-OCTOBER, SO THERE IS NO RUSH IN GETTING REGISTERED FOR THE 2011-12 SEASON.

The adult leagues will start back up on September 14, 2011. All leagues will be on Wednesday evenings. Divisions we aim for is Men's and Women's AA/A and BB/B

Who will design the new HOA logo

We would like to encourage all members to come up with a design for a new logo for the Heart of America Region. Submit your design with an explanation of your choices by December 20 to the HOA office. If your design is selected to be the new HOA logo, you will win a $250 shopping spree at the HOA store.

Joplin disaster Relief

Joplin Dunamis Junior Volleyball Club is one of the sponsers of a large Christian Music Festival that will be playing in Joplin on 7/29
We have several national christian artists like Mercy Me--Abandon--Mandisa and several others that will be attending-- All of the proceeds will be going to Samaritans Purse and Convoy of Hope two Christian relief organizations that will be doing work in Joplin for at least 12 months--
One of the unique things we're doing is allowing people that can't attend the event to buy tickets and donate them to families in Joplin -- It allows families to attend for free and heps raise money for these fine relief organizations-
